In the wake of the infamous March 2015 Heist update, it appears that Rockstar Games is at again with, yet another, content update for GTA V. Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1, releasing “next week” according to the Rockstar Newswire, will see that players have use for their new found dirty money with encouragement towards lavish spending.

The post on the Rockstar Newswire surfaced early on Monday, June 1 and briefly detailing the release of the first of two content updates, dubbed Ill-Gotten Gains.

 

“Due to a surge in high-end crime across southern San Andreas, demand for luxury goods and services is at an all-time high. Upscale merchants of all kinds are scrambling to fill their inventories to serve the newly wealthy. The first of two major deliveries this summer will be hitting the showrooms of luxury car dealerships, the shelves of top arms suppliers and other prestigious retailers in June.“

 

The announcement list clearly the addition of new vehicles and weapons, hinting at even more. The update is labeled Part 1 and the announcement goes on to say to “be on the lookout for another big shipment coming this summer,” showing Rockstar’s clear intent to keep this momentum rolling throughout the remainder of the year.

The Ill-Gotten Gains Part 1 update, featuring everything from diamond studded sneakers to golden helicopters and passenger jets, will release “next week”. Though the post does not include the exact date,  seeing as Tuesday is the typical role you day for most new content and releases, we can probably expect to see this Tuesday, June 9.
