I was recently handed a copy of Riptide GP2 to review for Cubed3. At first, I was admittedly skeptical of the title. It was NOT a strong first impression, to say the least.

While I’m not ready to sell the game with evangelical praise, I can say that the time I spent racing jet skis was, on a nostalgic level that’s reminiscent of old days in arcades, pretty damn fun. A point made in the review, it feels like old racing games — especially similar to the Wave Race titles. Speed boosts, stunt runs, and time trials– it’s all there. I could go on…
